TECHFYP.IN is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Our Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) policy is designed to respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement. This document outlines the process TECHFYP.IN follows to address allegations regarding the unauthorized use or distribution of copyrighted material through its service.
Definitions
- Content: Refers to any software, games, applications, and APK files available through TECHFYP.IN.
- Copyright: The legal right granted to the creator of an original work—such as software, or literary, dramatic, musical, or artistic works.
- Infringement: The use or distribution of copyrighted material without the copyright holder’s permission, which may violate one or more of the copyright holder’s exclusive rights.
Copyright Infringement Notification (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you believe that material available on TECHFYP.IN infringes upon your copyright, please notify us by submitting a DMCA takedown notice. The notice must be submitted by the copyright owner or an authorized representative and must include the following information:
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that has allegedly been infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or—if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification—a representative list of such works at that site. Identification of the material that is allegedly infringing or is the subject of infringing activity and is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, along with sufficient information to permit the service provider to locate the material.
Sufficient information to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party (e.g., address, telephone number, and, if available, email address).
A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and a statement—under penalty of perjury—that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.
Action upon receipt of a DMCA notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, TECHFYP.IN will take the following actions:
Remove or block access to the allegedly infringing material.
Notify the uploader of the material, including a copy of the DMCA notice and information regarding the potential consequences of copyright infringement.
Provide the uploader an opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the copyright infringement claim is unfounded.
Counter_notice
If the uploader believes that the content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, they may submit a counter-notice to us containing the following information:
Their physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the content that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where the content was available prior to removal or disabling. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the uploader has a good-faith belief that the removal or disabling of the content was based on a mistake or misidentification of the content to be removed or disabled.
The name, address, and telephone number of the person submitting the notice, and a statement that the person consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which their address is located—or, if the address is outside the U.S., to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which TECHFYP.IN is located—and that they will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.
Upon receipt of a counter-notice, TECHFYP.IN will forward a copy of that counter-notice.
